I know people are sick of finding sold items when they search the FS/FT section.. Why not implement a convention like this:
Original Thread:
For sale
HD6850
gtx280
After item sold Thread:
HsD6850 - Sold
gtx280
That way it won't be found with a search for 'hd6850,' but if people wanted to see prices the hd6850 was sold at they could search using the known convention, 'HsD6850' (just an s inserted at the second character).
It could be implemented using a button in the forums that says "mark sold."
Just a thought.
