That's only the deadline if you owe taxes. If you are getting a refund, you can still file after the deadline.

Yup, then you have 3 years before you start losing some of the credits, which might eventually make it so you aren't getting a refund afterall.

Plus you're stupid to not take a refund you're entitled too. You could be making interest on that money.

This is exactly why it pays to marry someone who's father is an accountant. Just pass over the paper, sign here and there, and collect the cheque. Was done (and spent) two months ago.
