She really can't sing but neither do I think she is putting her music out there pretending to be an R&B Diva or even a Martina McBride or Allison Krauss. I agree with George Jones, its definitely pop not country. Some of it is catchy, though, with good story/lyrics. Most of it, not so much. I guess you have to be a tween or something to really get on board. Goodness knows I listened to stuff when I was a tween that I thought was the shiznit but would make me vomit today.

I think she can actually sing -- I just don't think she sings all that great. She's only gotten this far because she's f**king hot.

She is a horrible singer.. I'm sorry but if your profession is to sing then you should at least be able to sing. There are plenty of people out there who can, and how one that can't became such a big star I don't really understand.

I don't hate her, but if you listen to her live she just can't sing well. It sounds like something I would have heard at a high school assembly. Actually I heard much better at high school assemblies. But she is that girl that nobody told her she really isn't that good of a singer but we'll let her do the national anthem anyway and we'll all clap to be polite and because hey she can't sing too well but at least she got up there are tried and isn't that worth something.

Good for her she is successful, just a bit odd she made it this far.

I would not say she is hot...not at all...she might be cute but her face..there something not right about her eyes...maybe its the makeup....

She's not trying to appeal to ~35 year old men on an internet board.

Have you seen the majority of her fans? They range from 12-19. You know how she got as far as she has? The majority of voters are from her age group. So quit bitching about not liking her. She's not trying to get YOU to like her.

For the record, i don't care for her either.
