Just a quick question..

Does your computer get worn out/bad for the pc if you leave it on overnight?

I need to leave it on daily for my PC alarm to work, and it doesn't work on Stand By either, so i'm wondering does it hurt my pc?

They're prob rated to 10k or 20k hours minimum. I'd be more worried about your HD crashing from getting power cycled.

I wouldn't worry about it. A lot of system get left on all the time.

It's better if you shut it off, but one night or two nights even won't hurt at all. If anything, shutting off your computer at night saves on electricity
