Just a quick question...

A "Wutemp" folder keeps getting created on my E drive. Why would Windows (I'm assuming) create a temp folder on a non-primary drive, and how would I go about stopping it?

Thanks

Below is a cut and paste from a newsgroup with, of course, the proper credit given:

The WUTemp folder is a folder created by WindowsUpdate.
It usually goes on a fixed hard drive with the largest amount of free space.

Once WindowsUpdate is through, you can delete the WUTemp directory.
