Yeah ask her out to eat, you cant talk and get to know each other in a movie like you can over a meal.

Dinner and a movie.

You could take her out to eat for dinner before the movie, or ask if she'd like to go for something like coffee afterwards.

NO DENNYS!

That?s a step below where you want to go.

Go to someplace like Applebees, Bennagins, Ruby Tuesdays, Chili?s and such. Those are good places to get simple food (aka: fancy named burger) and is not that much money.

As for a restaurant: they are hard to come by now a days (the above types below do not count as restaurants..) where do you live? Stay away from Italian.. don't want her to accidentally (or you for that matter) drop some sauce on yourself and look like a fool for the rest of the night.

Movies (I have found) are a bit awkward for a first date.. its all dark and quiet and such and if you dont really know the person, you are not sure of what you are supposed to do. Save that for a second date, it would flow much easier.

(side note: how old are you two?)

nowadays, college girls are so slutty that you don't even need to spend $$ to nail em like the good ol days. Just spend 5 min with them at a party and get a little alcohol pumping into them and they'll be ready for docking maneuvers. It makes it easy for us guys. :)

Rutgers, New Brunswick.
I looked into going to NJIT, but the part about being scared driving to and from the campus kind of irked me. I am not a racist, but center city Newark is a bit too much for me.

jesus, I had no idea there was a single Ruby Tuesday in Maine, and I've been living here for 13 years.

Heres some advice: take her down to Portland, go out somewhere in the old port, and catch Memento (if its still playing) at the Nickelodeon.
