Just this morning I was parking at a local gas station to grab a drink for the road and some pretty fucking hot chick raced to grab the door for me and said hi. Then a couple nights ago I pull up to a PetCo and as I am unloading my dogs two chicks came up and were all touchy-feely with me due to cuteness overload of carrying dogs in a BMW. They followed us all inside. I did a $5 donation to PetCo and they went nuts. Yeah they were just 18ish, not my type at all...but it was fun. Unfortunately though, my latest bigger donations (only $100) almost caused a freaking riot.

This post is worthless unless you tell us what year cars those teenagers were driving.

2004 Honda Civic - Found on craigslist asking $33,000 talked him down to $32,995 a steal.

2005 Toyota Yaris - Real sleeper. Can take on a '12 Chevy Camaro LT1 easy.*

*Provided the LT1 driver is parked reading the paper and Hal is driving the yota.

'81 Rabbit LS Diesel. Unknown miles due to broken odometer at 126K. Rebuilt the engine in High School auto due common problem of overheading due to a poorly designed and often failing heater hose failure coming off the head.
'90 Ford Festiva - Totalled
'90 Pontiac LeMans sedan - Daewoo made. Most underpowered car I have ever driven, but otherwise was a nice car.
'91 Saturn SL2. Reliable car except for the automatic seatbelts and a poor engine calibration. Would stumble off the line (too rich).
'95 Saturn SL2 - Fully loaded except for radio. Green with tan leather interior and sunroof.
'96 Chevrolet S10 extended cab 4x4. Bought it to tow my trailer of audio equipment when I used to do sound for live performances.
'84 VW Jetta Turbo Diesel. Always wanted a turbo diesel. Paid too much for it. Had a cracked head, and clogged exhaust, so it didn't take much for it to overheat. Was just a beater.
'97 Camry V6 - Excellent engine, but otherwise a snooze mobile. Was in the shop a few times for recalls and failures. Most notable for having the worst factory tires ever in a non-high performance car. The originals barely lasted 10K miles.
'00 Nissan Maxima SE - Traded the Camry for this. Hoped it would be so much more exciting. 28 More horsepower, a sporty designed car. Really, it was just louder, slower, and more rough riding, with a gigantic steering wheel. Dealer could never get the automatic up drivers side window to work properly, and the battery totally failed after 3 months. My least favorite car I have owned.
'00 VW Jetta TDI. Bought it as I was commuting 100 miles/day. By far the most unreliable car I have ever owned. Came with a defective instrument panel and fuel injector pump. Took 7 visits to the dealership before they diagnosed it properly (would misfire while driving on the highway, and very hard to start). Turbo blew apart at 56k miles. Drivers side power window failed, the dealership broke the door latch while replacing it, then damaged the window controls fixing that.
'02 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LTZ (still own). Bought used with 24K miles on it. It had been an Olympic torch relay vehicle. By far my most favorite vehicle. Has the excellent Atlas straight 6 that is quite powerful and VERY smooth. The ride quality is fantastic for a BOF SUV with live axle. Currently at 176K miles. I have had to do a few things like ball joints this year and regular maintenance like brakes, tires, etc., but it has been very reliable considering all it's been through and all the electronics it has. Still on the original transmission, alternator, and many other commonly replaced items. The only problems are the memory mirrors that don't remember where they should be (it has 2 position memory for seats, radio settings, climate control, and mirrors), and the CD changer is broken. Has absolutely no squeaks or rattles, and not a single fluid leak of any kind. Also has been just about the easiest vehicle on tires I've owned. I got 76K miles out of the OEM tires. Only had to replace them because I got a chunk of metal through the sidewall.
'95 Honda Civic EX. Bought as a beater to keep miles off the TrailBlazer and to get better fuel economy. It did have 165K miles on it, with obviously very poor maintenance. It cost me more in repairs than it cost to purchase. Nothing extremely major, but small things like a blown radiator, bad A/C condensor and compressor, oil leaks everywhere (rear main seal, valve cover, oil pressure sensor). It did manage to get a solid 30 MPG in straight city driving with 40 MPG on the highway. Very sluggish and uninspiring to drive, with an automatic that seemed possessed. Sold it after a year or so and 3k.
'99 Mazda 626 V6 148K miles. Wife's car when we got married. She inherited the TrailBlazer. A reason for me to really hate imports. Emission hoses everywhere, a horrible automatic, and cooling failures. The coolant tank blows out at the seam every two years. New fuel pump 5K miles ago, and chews through tires.

Want a 2009+ GMC Acadia for growing family. The TrailBlazer is just not big enough for 2 kids+adults+dog+luggage for our yearly 3K round trip vacation to Texas to visit the in-laws.

1993 Mitsubishi Diamante ES (Sold) - Had this car since 2002. Great introductory car for my 3000GT, since they share the block (6G72) Since I do most of my work on my cars, my self, owning this car has turned me into a Mitsubishi master mechanic.

1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 (Daily driver and gas guzzler) - Ive had this car for about 2 months. Got it on 11/1/11. Been wanting a VR-4 since god knows when. Now I got one and loving every minute of it.
