Just a late night "heads up" for frustrated Seti@Home members...

I was just able to upload about 20 WU's and receive 20 new ones from Berkley within the last 1/2 hour. (4:30-5:00am EST) I work third shift, so I'm up for these off peak hours. I am using Seti Driver and the CLI client. I disabled "Auto Transmit" in Seti Driver, and enabled "Display Transmit". I then hit the "Transmit" button and it started taking some completed WU's. Every other WU's or so, I would get the "can't connect message" and the hour retry thing, so I would just close out that transmit window and let the next one try. It took a few times through, but I was able to empty out my cache (on this PC anyway) and get some new WU's in. Just thought that I would let some of the late nighters know that while it is still very slow, with a little patience, the server is reachable now. 🙂 Good luck!

I went as far as starting seti driver twice, sending wu's 2 at a time, setting priority to low, and it works 🙂

Well my 4-7 am seti shift is almost over, time to get ready for work 🙂

And I have 81 WUs in my seti queue, now I can really start adding my clients, I have been very slow in adding because of the bandwidth problems. I have 8 on and will probably try to get and entire lab up today sometime. 😀
