Just a Big Thanks!

1st post, but I've been lurking here for some months now, ever since I decided it was high time I replaced my venerable 5yo+ 1.1GHz Athlon t-bird based system!

But I wanted to say a big thanks to all the experts on here and Tom's Hardware for all the advice (good and bad) they've given to others, using which I've managed my first ever full build. It's been running rock solid for about 4 weeks now, Oblivion is stunning, and I couldn't be happier with my system!

I never felt it necessary to post a "Rate my Build" as this will all be pretty familiar to you, but for those who are interested in these things, my spec for all round use including fairly frequent gaming is:

Asus P5W DH Deluxe
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR-667 CL4
Radeon X1900XT 512MB
320GB Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 SATA II
NEC 3550A DVDRW DL
Coolermaster Centurion 534
Added Coolermaster 120mm fan to rear outlet - took >10C off my CoreTemp temperatures from a worrying low 60s maximum to a more comforable low 50s max :Q
Seasonic S-12 500W PSU
Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000
Logitech G5 Laser Mouse

Currently I'm still running my existing speakers off the onboard sound, but will probably add an X-Fi and new 5.1 speakers later, once my finances have recovered from the recent addition of my:

Dell 2007FPW 20in ws panel

I haven't done any overclocking before, and don't have any immediate plans to do so (hence I was happy with 667 memory). But I haven't ruled out a bit of experimenting in the future...

Nice build, congrats! I have that same RAM, vid card, and HDD...good stuff!
