Odd. While I agree that JP1 was by far the best of the bunch, I felt 2 was one one of the stupidest movies of all time. Easily Jeff Goldblumes worst performance, the little girl annoyed the ever living sh1t out of me, and a good part of the movie took place in California. I would've been relieved if the dumb damn dinosaurs broke out in show tunes while sauntering down sunset blvd, I might've been entertained. What a waste of time

As for 3, not a great flick but it got back to what was important; dinosaurs. It was pretty cut and dry, and based on the last go around I was pretty thankful for that.

I thought that the Spinosaur/Trex fight was totally botched. First off, it was way, way too short and how does the Spino win when the Trex gets the first bite in, on the spino's neck? The Trex, from all the testing I've read about, had the hardest bite power of any land animal, ever. Those banana sized teeth driven into a neck would be nearly a sure kill. Having seen what my dog's bite could do to a neck (He was attacked by a german shepherd twice his size), a Trex's mouth, at many times the power, would have damaging as hell.

There was a script floating around for 3, and it was very good. Goldblum's character gets caught in a truck that's attacked by the two adult Rex's after someone wakes them from an afterkill slumber, and is tossed around like a rag doll inside. I t had a couple of very clever kills in it, too.

Just when you thought it was over...

no its King Kong... if that doesnt look like a JP sequel nothing does...

Like many I was a fan of the first JP. It was fresh and wonderous. Now, many years and remakes later I say this is getting like beating a dead horse. I am tired of it and my son who once was a dinosaur nut isn't into them anymore so I doubt I'll be seeing this.

I actually thought the 3rd one was ok in a lighthearted Saturday afternoon action flick kind of way. At least they kept it on the island and focused more on the dinosaurs. The second one was downright horrible.

I've never been a huge Crichton fan. JP and Sphere were the only books of his that I really liked. I thought Sphere was a great book, but hated the movie.

this mite be cool if it has to do with the comet hitting the earth n maddness occurs n dinosaurs are dieing.
