God, let the dinos die, finally. Yeesh. The first book and first movie were great. The 2nd movie AND book were barely tolerable, and I've never actually been able to sit through the entire 3rd movie. It was horrible.

I remember reading that the script for #4 was so crazy and genius that the reader was absolutely floored. I actually remember reading a fairly detailed description of the plot (though I forgot it by now) but the end mentioned that it was almost too 'out there' for it to be picked up as is.

Perhaps if the core remained the same then it could be decent. Otherwise I can't see how they want to keep this crap train running

The only thing I think of when I see JP1 on TV is what it could have been if they let Jim Cameron direct it, and let him spend the cash, and make it roughly like the book. and not as cuted up as Speilberg made it. I think it would have done 2X the business it did if the movie was done as a more "adult" film.

Odd. While I agree that JP1 was by far the best of the bunch, I felt 2 was one one of the stupidest movies of all time. Easily Jeff Goldblumes worst performance, the little girl annoyed the ever living sh1t out of me, and a good part of the movie took place in California. I would've been relieved if the dumb damn dinosaurs broke out in show tunes while sauntering down sunset blvd, I might've been entertained. What a waste of time

As for 3, not a great flick but it got back to what was important; dinosaurs. It was pretty cut and dry, and based on the last go around I was pretty thankful for that.

theres actually a way that iv can be saved -spielberg ,if youre listening- heres waht you do- all the big dinosuars get destroyed because they aRE OBVIOUSLY not safe. Instead they make a petting zoo with tiny miniature dinosuars-kind of like all these litlle pot bellied and lop eared dinosuars...but one night they hatch about a billion eggs, and they develop raZOR SHARP TEETH LIKE LAND PIHRANNAS. THERE- WHAT DO YOU THINK STEVEN?

i think it is funny when a writer makes a book, and a movie is based on it... then their is a sequal book, so there is a sewual movie... then, the movies just start making their own sequals...

This is outrageous... they are ruining michael crichton's masterpiece... he is a very good sience fiction writer!

i hope the dinos learn to wield assault rifles in this one. thats the only logical direction for this series of movies to go in.

Jurassic Park was made for kids.

I wish the first movie had stayed a little closer to the book.

The first movie rocked, I remember seeing it like 3 times in the theater. After that, they lost the perfect blend of magic, mystery, and danger that the first movie had down.
