Juon Re-Make to Star Sarah Michelle Gellar!

Juon wasn't that scary. I got the DVD and was very disappointed. However, if someone imported "The Eye" here, then I think that would be one scary flick.

The Eye was not scary. Juon was scary.

ALthough I think this remake will suck balls. Juon didn't really have a good plot, but just the nasty dead pale Japanese body look/movement is freaky as hell. Mixed in a few suspense/sudden scare movement... I was damn scared.

Notes:

- Watts is an excellent actress.
- Gellar is not.
- The Ring sucked even though it had an excellent lead actress.
- The Ring was not scary unless you're one helluva nancyboy.
- Mermaidman is a very weird handle.
- I am bored.

i saw Ju-On, the movie sucked.

Sure, it had some "scary" parts, but the movie didn't make sense. The movie skips time rediculously and leaves many plotholes and unanswered questions, it is more like several episodes of a show put together, assuming we have a time machine.

Japanese movies leave much to the imagination/unanswered questions.

One of the reasons 'The Ring' wasn't so scary here was everything was spoonfed enough to make it predictable. Plus American movies have to have all good-looking cast most of the time....foreign movies aren't afraid to have ugly-stick cast if it fits 🙂.
