Juno Won't Connect

For some reason, Juno won't connect to the internet on my computer. It works on other computers, but it won't connect on mine. I've tried reinstalling and stuff, and that didn't work. Any ideas?

well, i used to have earthlink, but decided to try juno. I downloaded software, and was never able to connect to juno. I tried to connect that first month free, and called tech support numerous times, but was never able to connect. In the meantime, i was using earthlink to connect to the net. finally i cancelled the service butthey gave me 2 more months free. For the hell of it, i switched modems in my computer with the one my roommate had, and voila, i connected to juno. So i went and bought new modem and since then had no trouble connecting to juno til dsl came to town. perhaps you should try another modem. Strangely enough, i put my old modem back into my computer, and the damn thing wouldn't connect to juno.....yet it connected to earthlink, and other free isps that existed at the time...hope that helped...

You might want to check out Juno's new dealings with the Acceptable Use Policy... the new thing you aggree to will say that you have to leave your computer on whenever Juno wants you to so their software can dialup to their servers and upload any information from your computer that you have -reguardless. And, if anything goes wrong with your PC that is even remotely connected with the Juno software, you're SOL. There's more to do with it, but I can't remember all right now.
