tonights episode - Siege
Two teams of four maniacal engineers set loose in a scrapheap with a plethora of tools and a goal: build a specific mechanical device. The two teams build a siege engine that will lob cabbages or turnips at the 'castle' defenses.

Yes!!! I love Junkyard Wars, definitely the best show on The Learning Channel.

LOL Im not the only one who thought that. The Long Brothers were ok, but all the others were all dorks. The English Rock!

The people on the US are the epitome of "ugly Americans". They lack any sort of sportmanship and are bunch of whiners. The lack any sort of good humor and seem to bicker more than two spiled brothers. The Brits on the other hand are excellent sports that regard their opponents that equals rather than villains. The "stiff upper lip" attitude allows them to make a good joke no matter how bleak the situation. It really upset me when the Massachuetts "The Nerds" was on the British show. They were the stereotypical xenophobes that felt they were superior to everyone. I'm gladd they got their asses whooped by the "Brothers in Arms". The host is a wannabe Tom Green while Robert Llwellyn comes off with biting humor that always fits the situation.

I wrote TLC about how alful the US version is compared to the British version.
