June 24 weekend plans

Friday night my wife and I are having a couple of friends over for a movie and drinks.

Saturday morning I have a meeting for my Master Naturalist class at Martin Dies State Park

Saturday evening supposed to go to my parents farm and help build a hog pen and cut the grass around the fruit trees.

Might throw some jug lines out on the Angelina river right before dark.

Sunday morning head out on the river to pick up the jug lines and do some fishing.
 
Tonight I'll probably hangout by myself while my wife is helping for my cousin's wedding.

Tomorrow I'll head to Midland to meet my brother then drive up to Lubbock for the wedding. Afterward my wife and I will head back to Midland and hangout with him and his wife.

Sunday head back home and relax.
 
Tonight: Possibly seeing Cars 2 with the lady. Her mother had some surgery today, so depending on how that goes, she may stick around the hospital with her. If no Cars 2, probably just drinking and playing video games until the lady comes home, at which point video games will be replaced with a movie.

Saturday & Sunday: The lady has a horse show next weekend, so most of her free time this weekend will be spent at the barn working with horses and getting prepared. This means I'll most likely be parked in front of the TV with some beer and PS3. And possibly a late showing of Cars 2 if we can't fit it in on Friday. All my friends live about an hour away, so, not much for me to do most weekends.

Getting off today at 2pm...going to do some brief chores and get the haircut going. Probably smoke a blunt and then go out with my friends tonight. Not sure about tomorrow.

Probably mow the lawn Saturday, go to band practice, and then a birthday party at a lake outside of town.

Looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend.
 
Leaving work at noon to drive down to Indiana and see some buddies for the weekend. Probably play a late 18 holes this afternoon when I get there, probably just chill and drink tonight, tomorrow night we'll probably go out and watch the soccer game.

FRI: Leave work at 2, go to golf tourney, get blasted at afterparty
SAT: Downtown Bmore for 32oz Giganto-beers before heading to Orioles game. Blasted.
SUN: Crab feast, AKA get blasted.

Tonight: Getting home late and finishing up my home theater project. Re-run some cables and wires around the basement to make it look nice. Watch a movie or two on it.

Saturday: Running in the morning then Shopping.

Sunday: Relaxing

got my son this weekend, we have a party to goto tonight, and then the pool tomorrow and then sunday is cleaning/laundry fun times of a single parent
 
Tonight play some hockey and feel tired as hell after.

Sat: Sleep like a brick and possibly not wake up in the morning. Head to a city about an hr away and watch my 9yo brother earn his Junior Black Belt.

Sun: Could be a mix here. Depending on how Saturday night works out this could change, but I know at night we'll head to a carnival and watch some fireworks. During the day the wife will be at a wedding shower and I'm avoiding that at all costs.
 
hang cabinets, play with electrical in my attic, maybe paint, clean up the house from renovation nightmare

and go out saturday and get hammered with a buddy for his going away
 
Getting up at 4am tomorrow to go blueberry pickin'... then I'll spend the rest of the weekend recovering. 😀

Tonight: Going to a bonfire at a friend's house
Tomorrow: Work on my car, try to get the transmission mated to the engine and possibly put in the car. Probably take some pics of my RV and van that I'm thinking about selling.
Sunday: Church, Nascar, work on my car... This is my redneck day, I guess.
 
Might head to the Smoky Mountains for a few hours to visit my cousin camping out there. Otherwise, it is thesis work for me. Recent storms knocked out my internet access.
 
Today: Spend a few hours at the airport, then hop on a plane to Rome.

Rest of the weekend (and next two weeks): Italy!

What is appealing about going to see a team that literally has no chance to ever compete to win a division? What gets you excited to watch them?
 
Friday: Play basketball after work, then grab some food and beers, then probably play a little L4D2/TF2.

Saturday: Run in the morning then it's movie day; Tree of Life during the day then Conan O'Brien Can't Stop at night. Can't wait.

Sunday: Ikea in the morning to get another shelving unit (good lord I buy way too many movies) then a golf lesson in the afternoon.

Should be an ok weekend as long as I can avoid the office. :hmm:

11:10pm tonight - hockey semi-playoffs then head to the local bar for a drink and spinach dip/chips. If we win tonight, the final playoff game Sunday at 3:45 [again - head to the local bar for some drinks/chips]

Nothing else planned for the weekend. On my "to do" list:

- Find an annoying leak in the roof of our Vue. Saturn screwed up the rear 2 roof top mounting holes. Instead of fixing it, they left the broken screws inside and try to re-tap it. Seriously Saturn [Chevy]? 🙁
- Replace rusty looking drywall screws and patch up the holes. Cheap nails used in an expensive 12 year old house.
- Rip up a section of the "5 year rug that's been there for 12 years and looks like crap" to replace with new OSB subfloor if necessary and lay down Laminate flooring.
- Wash the cars
- Maybe vacuum/shampoo the rugs [I'd like to replace all of them with hardwood flooring]
