right now i am a senior in college. I intern for a relatively small company that would most likely give me a position when i graduate in may.

I was contacted by T Row Price, a few days ago and they want to interview me for an internship position. However there is no guarantee that TRow will offer me a positon upon graduation. The recruiter said thats the best way to get into the company, and hiring upon graduation depends on situation, budget, etc.

So IF i was offered an internship by TRow, i am not sure what i would do.

What would you do? Take the leap and try to break it into the big coporate world or stay where i am at?

Worry about it once you have the offer.

Is it for the same position? How's the company you're working for now? There's pros and cons to working for a small company vs a big company.

I've been a company of 8 people and have gotten *massive* raises over the past year, my own office, etc. But I'm now moving to a large corp just b/c I feel it'll be beneficial to my career to go with a bigger company, where there's more opportunity. It all depends on the position and your gut feeling.

It depends. Are you getting good experience where you work now? What field are you in?

I work for a huge company. It's not too bad. imo the perfect company is a 300-500 employees and privately held.

If you work for a company who's too small they don't want to spend money (comes out of the owners pocket) if you work for a company that's too large then there's too much bureauccratic bullsh!t you have to deal with

Right now my company is a Dod contractor and i am an enginerring assistant doing programming work. We have ~9 offices throughout the states. Probably a few hundred employees.

TROW is hiring for Database work.

edit - my concern is post-graduation. I need a job upon graduation and cannot afford time to look for a job.
