Stupid noob question here, but I need to clear my CMOS and a jumper wasn't included. Will rebooting with any piece of metal connected between the 2 pins work?

You don't turn on your computer with that jumper in place. Doing that can cause damage in some cases.

You simply turn your computer off, take out the battery, connect the 2 "clear CMOS" jumper pins for about 5 sec and then remove the jumper. Once this is done you can replace the battery and power on the computer.

Do not turn it on with the clear CMOS jumper in place.

Lastly, yes any conductive metal will work.
