Jump to the Thread List after replying?

Not sure if this was asked before but is there any way to set something so that after I reply to a post (quick reply, quote, regular reply, etc) that I could be returned to the list of Threads instead of to the thread I just replied to?

If I read through a whole thread and then replied to it, there's no need for me to get put back viewing the same thread I just read through.

If this could be made an option in the Personal Settings section or something, that'd be great.

Many times in a popular thread, others will be posting when you are doing so.

this allows you to see what may have been entered while you were thinking/typing.

Also, it allows you to review what you wrote, if you do not preview the post.

This was an option in the old version of FuseTalk, when you loaded up the "Reply" page, there was a checkbox that said "Do not return me to thread". I asked way back when that came in if it could be an option to be set in the Profile to always enable it, or to at least have it down with the Quick Reply. I always use Quick Reply, and having it load up the entire thread again is a waste of bandwidth in my opinion, as I ALWAYS go straight back to the topic listing anyway.

Same here. Every time click Reply, I immediately click back on the board ae to go back to the list. Would save me lots of clicks if I could make it permanent.

I actually prefer it this way, especially the page refresh. I'd just like it refined though, to automatically jump to my post. Why? Because I see a lot of people, including myself, posting links, or doing formatting, only to have it get totally screwed up by forgetting a "]" somewhere, or something along those lines. Or maybe you find that you replied to the wrong thread. It's nice to see it right away[/b, rather than have [/i]the thread drug off topic by people having a blast making fun of your [l=http://ww.aos.coaw]errors.[/]
