Hi all


erm Ok seeing I'm a newbe with this any one mind explaining what a "Jump" and a "Bump" are

I have no idea what a "jump" is, but a "bump" means you are pushing the thread back to the top of the foum listings.

I have never seen "jump" either, but I assume that it is just a spin off of "bump."

also keep in mind that if you're the originating poster, and want to bump your own thread, you should do it no more than once every few hours.. i forget where it is, it's mentioned somewhere in a faq or something.. :)

You may also see a ^bump^ listed as "ttt". To The Top.

That annoys me when someone posts something and bumps it 5 minutes later. :disgust:

I agree. I just alerted the MODs about a newbie that is excessively bumping his threads over in FS/FT. He has bumped a few of his threads the same minute he made the original post.

I can not locate it, but someone posted a huge list of all the acronims you would see here, everything from TTT, ^, and Up, to ROFL and ROTFLMAO.

Anyone else find it?

Evad got most of them. You usually see these two in the TS or GH forum.

When something like that comes up, I usually use this: "if you get a chance, you should read the novel that came free with your (product). It is about a spanish guy named Manual. It is a very good read.
