What happened? Did Pontiac start distributing crack cocaine to potential buyers before they took a test drive? A 141% gain can only indicate that people in the U.S. are getting dumber as time goes on.

Actually with such low sales in the first place it is not hard to make a large jump. HappyPuppy's company is probably a large portion of that increase.

Yep, owner satisfaction is among the highest in the industry. But cladding or no cladding, the Aztek is horrendous.

I looked at the Buick Rendezvous, which is basically an Aztec with purtier sheet metal. It was a great vehicle. Very comfortable seats. Drove very well. Had excellent room up front, a cavernous luggage area. Quite acceptable second row seats. It had AWD and still pulled about 24MPG on regular low grade sludge from the pump. It was all around, a very nice vehicle for what was. It had 4 doors like an SUV, but the storage capacity of nearly a minivan. Great people and "stuff" hauler.

Really had no weak points besides being somewhat underpowered. GM Should have dropped the 3.8L in there.
