Only 2 weeks left now :) ... Someone must help me recap the previous 6 books. I seemed to have forgotten everything.

I hear Harry grows a vagina, conceives upon his immacualte conception, then gives birth to Skreech from SBTB. And... having been imbued with Harry's self impregnating magical essence, can now outwit Zach and pin Slater for the full 10 count. He's also now a talented Cellist with a knack for percsussion.

haven't pr-ordered but will be getting the book. i really enjoyed the others.
i originally put off reading them for years because of all the stupid BS people were saying about how its for kids and stuff, but i read the 1st 6 back around January and loved them.

Who cares what people think ... if you enjoy it, then its a good book! :)

same. my sister was the one who ordered it. she'll undoubtedly stay up all night reading it. i think the series is nice, but I'm not crazy about it. I'll read it and i am looking forward to it, but definitely not counting the days.

I broke down and pre-ordered it from Amazon. Mainly because I'm curious to see if they really do deliver it on opening day, as per their guarantee.

I have never seen, nor read a Potter book. I just don't find them amusing. It's like a holiday at my school, though. :)

No need to preorder - these books are everywhere.

If you have any selfcontrol at all, which I don't, just wait a week or two and the folks that waited in line will have already finished the thing and you can borrow the book and read it for free.

Until you see a "Snape kills Dumbledore on page 597" T-shirt. Then the party's over before it started.

That's why (no I am not telling anyone the site, as we don't need to be spammed and or hacked) me and others are waiting to find out the biggest spoiler posted on the harry potter spoiler site and running off to the midnight spoilers yelling it out of our windows.

LOL a couple have even bought those flashing neon signs you see on buses.

Am I an asshole? No, because I just made that up as I read and enjoy the books to, but boy would that be funny.
