Please DO NOT private message me with submissions. Instead, email a working link to your image (preferably on Photobucket, Imageshack, Flickr, etc) to:

ATPhotoContest[AT]gmail.com

Include your Anandtech username please. I will be linking to your images via the links you send so direct links to the image files are preferred.

------------------------------

Primary July 2009 Contest Theme:

* Fireworks

Secondary Theme:

* Cityscape

Tertiary Theme:

* "Anything Goes"
o I liked the idea of people taking a picture and it being a awesome shot but it not fitting in any category
o Please keep the pictures SAFE FOR WORK
------------------------------

Errors/Omissions:

* I try my best to keep everything organized on my end in regards to picture submissions and the names of users that submitted those. If you find any errors, PLEASE let me know so I may correct them. I've not been told that I've linked to wrong pictures, or labeled pictures with the wrong usernames yet, so I must be doing something right. But that's the last thing I want is giving credit for a photo to the wrong person.

If anyone else has other suggestions for July or August contest themes, please post them in this thread. I'm running out of ideas myself. Thanks.

I know the size requirements specifies a minimum, but is there a maximum? What resolution should I export to for these contests?

Something easily viewable on most monitors...1024x768 is a good starting point. There isn't a specific maximum, but if you export your image at 50,000x50,000 nobody's going to wait 5 minutes for your image to load ;)
