well i know there was the mod who posted the huge issue about ATOT changing, but i very rarely have seen any real effects from it, you have people like JulesMaximus being biggots and just plain moronic.

umm, there is no post in that thread by Jules? Not that I'm defending him, I have seen his foreign car fanboism and it is kind of annoying. I just try to accept that OT is a craphole, but could be a lot worse.

I do not enjoy the elitism of some posters...but then again we are all guilt of it in some form, and what he said is hardly bannable

EDIT:
I read it again and I agree he was trolling and his short bus comment was highly uncalled for...he did not feel like backing down...a stern warning and a slap on the behind should be sufficient

As a Lifer, he should have known better and the punishment fit the crime.

There's plenty of people here who don't exhibit that same "elitist" attitude as he does.

I might be thick, but I fail to see the problem with his posting. It's nothing worse than what goes on around here on a day to day basis. I think someone is getting too worked up over this.

So making 10K posts on a messageboard (In Jules case, about 18 a day) makes someone more knowledgeable?
Not trying to flame you BlueWeasel, as I know you contribute lots to the software forum. However it appears that Jules is mostly an OT neffer, so you really can't learn much there.

I concur, I didn't see anything out of the norm for OT. Even with the new "rules". I shall refrane from any further public comment on this subject though as I wish not to test the waters.
