my buddy's father had one growing up. they were a portuguese family and after doing some research it looks like it originates as a peruvian game, but portuguese have a lot in common with spanish people in general.
anyways, this is what i'm talking about.

my buddy's father was a carpenter and he built his own. we used to play it all the time and his father and his friends would play too while just hanging out and having some food and drinks. it is just one of those fun backyard games. i only ever got it in the frogs mouth 1 time in however many years i used to hang out at his house (probably 4 or 5 years at least). it is pretty rare and tough to land one of those.
here's a video of a match, and at the end around the 6:40 mark the guy gets one in on his last turn to win the match.

i'm thinking of getting one to have around for the summer time in our backyard.
has anyone ever heard of this or played it before?
