that said...
i dont think some criminals should be given a second chance, especially those convicted of truly serious crimes such as rape, murder, etc.. in the end, car jacking just not that bad. so what, you lost your car... that can be replaced, your life, your innocence, those things cant be replaced.

What a load of crap. This has already been debated and debunked that it costs less to incarcerate him over killing him. Plus if we allowed what MichealD suggests then it would cost nothing except a few pennies for the bullet.

Oh, and aren't you just Mr. Perfect? First off, I don't think I got off lightly. Secondly, I don't REALLY think I caught a beating. This is an internet BB, in case you forgot, and opinions are like you-know-whats and everybody has one. Personally, I believe that our justice system is broken in more ways than one.

I think criminals get off way too lightly. I think that single fathers are persecuted and the system is biased against them in the first place. I think our immigration system and it's laws are far too lax. These are my opinions. Know how I REALLY voice them?

as for execution, thats easy off. if i had a mind reading machine that allowed me 100% certainty of guilt, i would resort to torture. why waste a bullet if you can make them suffer the "sloth" treatment from the movie se7en. and yes, i'm a pansy liberal

but since we don't have said mind reading device, the death penalty is both financially irresponsible and imperfect. its amazing how many people on death row are later found to be innocent, and those are only the ones that are lucky
