This Secretary of State of Ohio is supposed to represent ALL the interests of the voters of Ohio. In this regard, his blatantly partisan attempts at disenfranchising and/or suppressing the vote of the opposition party will hopefully result in his demise when he comes up for reelection.

If he does get reelected, it would send a signal to the rest of the nation that the majority of Ohio voters think it's just fine to violate the intention and/or letter of state and federal voting laws to win elections.

I would hope the Democrats are not tempted to use these same dirty tactics should they find themselves with the opportunity to do so.

I can't wait for 2014 to see if there are severe consequences for at least a few of the Repub politicians who used these vile tactics after many if not all the states under their control attempted to usurp the integrity of our voting process.

The difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats would denounce a Democrat who tried to suppress the vote like the Republicans did.

Anyone who says differently is an idiot.

Ohio is a joke. Their governor, John Kasich, is a former Fox News commentator.
The good news is that he just squeeked in back in 2010 so by 2014 he will be gone.
