If 17 is the age of consent in that state, then I don't see the problem. Sure, it's inappropriate because of the teacher/student relationship but it's not illegal if they both consent and are both of age.

Uhh if >= age of consent and the parents have no issue with it, then why would we need another OK from a judge?

Fing BS. They have a TON better things to do. This is right up there with time wasteing as the study producing the fact that men like to look at porn.

According to the attorney for the teacher, 17 is age of consent there. But damn, Nancy Grace is going to shit bricks when she hears this.

School is different because the teacher is an authority figure and the law requires you to attend school. This is why in the past it has been illegal.

Well then all that it is is a breach of policy.

Censentual is consentual. I see your point, though.

That reporter is so annoying.

"Der, der, der. I need higher ratings. Der, der, der. Legal sex is bad. It should be stopped. Der, der, der. Tomorrow I will talk about how driving the speed limit is bad if you haven't driven much. Der, der, der."

They make it sound like girls are fucking retarded until the day they turn 18, or "the age of consent"

like, 'the law should be changed so girls like this cant choose to have sex' ffs sex will happen no matter what.

'I was like "THIS IS AWESOMELY FREAKY"':hmm:

I'm kinda thankful I don't live in that state. Cause if I had a 17 year old child having sex with a teacher. I very well could lose my temper and do something.

Your child is there to learn..Not to get banged by the teacher.

What happens 6 months later, when she's 18?

As long she lived under my roof she follows my rules. If she don't want too, she can move out on her own. But don't think she can run back at the first sign of problems.

That's how I was grown up when I was younger. Do I hate my parents for making me follow the house rules? The answer is nope, I love my parents very much.

Yeah. I had to turn it off halfway through because I can't stand talking to people with no grasp of logic.

Ahh, one of those parents. I'm not going to question your choices, but from girls that I've known that have had parents with a death-grip like that, they are the first ones to rebel and turn to shit.

You get walled-in your entire life, you flee at the first opportunity. Over years of fighting, the parent ends up giving up leaving their 'protected' child worse off than they would have been otherwise.

wow, are you 12 years old ? Since I'm in a nice enough mood today since it's all most Christmas time. You can have your early gift which is being added to my 'Ignore List'. I'm done dealing with little kids.
