thanks in advance for any tips/advice 😀

**edit**

oh yeah, in my system I have 4 fans, 1 120mm(exhaust) and 2 92mm(intake) and a 80mm(airflow promoter) all running at their medium settings

So my thoughts on that were two fans @ 1600RPM (low noise) generating 28x2=56CFM's of intake would create a low pressure inside the case thus making it more ideal for cool air to flow in as my exhaust fan was running at 56 CFM as well. So I figure with my PSU running a low RPM fan exhaust as well there would be more out then in(my low pressure idea lol). so yeah any thoughts on that as well?

Sweet, good job. I built my first PC a few months ago (in my sig) and it was a really good experience.

Are the IDE cables restricting air intake? seems so from the pics, move 'em all the way down to the base if you can and flatten them against it(under the vid card clearance like in HERE). The molexes can also so moved out by pulling them up towards the side or down towards the base and with use of a few zip-ties can be held out of way. All in all, thats damn good for a first build, my first was a complete mess inside AMD Athlon 1300 (4 years ago). And that PSU, is it the Raidmax modular? I have heard a few horror stories about it, I would go for something else personally especially since you've got some pricey components on the line powered by a $40 PSU.

yeah the psu is crap, but it has to do for another week or so at which point im taking it back to Fry's and getting a nicer one.

I'm hoping by then I will be able to find a good one that's on sale, lol otherwise I'm just going to newegg one.

That IDE cables only going to be there for a few more days, I'm getting another PATA->SATA converter, the thing worked wonders for my set up on my lower burner.. althought towards the bottom I used the video card to flatten out the ide it does restrict the top a little but theres nothing up there that runs hot so I'm not to worried about its cooling. the hdd's are right next to my intake and they blow directly to my video with no air blockage so all is well there. I really wish I could clean the top section up a bit but that pos psu came with a power cable that is just not cable management friendly imo.

HiPro HP-P600W / Topwer TOP-600P5 Dual 20A (separate) / 40A (rail-fusion); 43A peak.
Heard good things about all of these on sapphire forums.

here's one I like-
http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/reviews/cases/Enermax_ELT620AWT_1.html

My former PSU was a Antec 430W NEOHE couldn't handle what I was doing so I went to frys for a temp solution and found that pos raidmax on sale. surprisingly it's done quite well... however if I start to OC any higher than whats in my sig for it the system starts to lose stability and I think its cause its tryin to get more outta the rails then it can.

are psu's supposed to spit out pretty hot air?

depends, mine spits out air little bit warmer than the case exhaust .Hot, I think that PSU is being stressed beyond its limits, better hurry up and get something, also I suggest an Enermax Liberty (very good modular PSU), the 520(?) Watt model should be good for you, I had it and it was solid, but since I didn't need that much juice I got rid of it, wish I hadn't though, but my current PSU is solid as well, plus UV reactive cabling (I have UV cathodes). Couldn't Resist. 😀 . The Spirit replaced the crappy Northbridge cooling, Now my PC has a Ninja (pictured is the Freezer), everything else is the same with an X850XT PE on the way. It isn't as blinding as the pic makes it out to be BTW, I had blue cathodes before and they were too bright, replacd them with some UV and all is good. Soft blue lighting.

I scored a 440w on that but I can't get it to incorporate my OC in there for whatever reason and 2 drives running sata raid takes more power than just running sata (i think) which it also doesnt incorporate nor does it look at my vga OC, the cpu OC is good for an extra 50w's as I understand it and a VGA is good for 25w's 520 is close but stretching it.

I prefer modular PSU's as well so good call on the enermax. I've heard godo things about them as well.

that ligthing is awesome in your set up how hard is that to do?
