I'll say it again, you're spending an awful lot of effort on me for not giving 2 shits. Especially for simply asking me to repeat myself. Is that your thing? When your parents made you repeat yourself for them they'd have control, so now you try to control people by making them repeat themselves for you? Do you beat your wife if she doesn't repeat herself when you ask? You seem like the type.

One hallmark of abusive people is their ability to twist reality to fit their version of events. IE its always someone else's fault. Usually its the victim where the blame is largely placed. Without this particular ability, they are unable to continue as they have been, because the cognitive dissonance would be too large.

While I think classy could, barring that he isn't actually abusive himself, and with a little bit of education, come around to realize that what is going on in that video is unacceptable. al981 on the other hand, is simply trolling or attempting to defend a fellow abuser. By defending the fellow abuser, he can then justify his own behavior and beliefs.
 
The thing is that they don't know they are twisting it.

It's done on an unconscious level.

That's why abusive people are so damn scary, both academically and actually.
