It's all good. 1st no hitter of the season's still seriously good pitching. They switched Kung Fu Panda out before the 8th though.

Speaking of Kung Fu Panda, fuck Mets and Wright. Weak ass team with a bunch of overpaid scrubs. Can't believe Wright gets to start the all star game while Kung fu Panda gets no love even though he's pretty much the best 3B in the majors thus far in the season.

SF Giants pitcher Sanchez threw a no hitter tonight, the 1st no hitter of the MLB this season. He had a perfect game into the 8th, but they did a double switch and put Uribe into Sandoval's spot. Uribe made an error when he can't convert a routine ground ball out and turned Sanchez's perfect game into a no hitter.

I think Uribe rushed it. I thought it was going to rattle Sanchez but thankfully he kept it together.

Rowand made a monster catch at the top of the 9th though to save him. Catch of the year.

Really? The very first of any team?

I was thinking about Uribe and yes he is the goat today but I think it may have helped Sanchez throw the no hitter.

To Adrian Gonzalez he was down in the count late in the 7th and he grooved a few pitches trying to keep the perfect game in tack and got lucky when he took him to the track.

After Uribe booted the ball when Sanchez got down in the count he didn't have to give in to the hitter but could stay on the corners.

It's all good hopefully Panda plays with a chip on his shoulder the rest of the way.

Also it's Juan not Jose. Jose Uribe (who also played for the Giants) is the late cousin of Juan.

also, the catcher, eli whiteside, was a last minute replacement as bengie molina's wife went into labor.

i'm going to the game on sunday but zito's pitching so i won't be seeing any no-hitters. :)

Like Sanchez was the pitcher on the giants rotation people thought would get a nono?

Man, that game made me smile :)

Even if Zito had a no-hitter going, he would have nothing left after the 7th inning.

sanchez always had the stuff. mid 90's fastball and that slider. even in the 9th inning last night, sanchez was throwing 92. all he had to do was control it.

zito tops out at 87, haha. the bay area fans have seen zito pitch in oakland and sf, he's not going to throw a no-hitter. :)

i came back to this thread for the link i provided. i want to see that gem again!
