Jsut spent another $889.78 on my car.

I got the Trick Flow 5.0 Street intake to go along with the twisted wedge heads I got. I'm replacing the fuel pump, FMU, and fuel pressure regulator. I'm keeping my 24lb/hr. injectors for now, gonig to see how well they flow on the dyno. I'm running 6 PSI of boost, and will be running the same on the new motor. I'm donig the work myself, except that I'm having a shop build the shortblock for me.

Thanks. Let us know how you like that Trick Flow intake. 🙂

Only 4 months! Jesus my wife and I could eat for most of a year for ~$900 amish
Do you live on ramen?
No, we just don't eat much.

I thought $200/mth is cheap enough for groceries, now maybe me and my gf has to reevaluate our spending then... err, can we grow chicken in the city?

I wish I had an extra $900 right about now to dump into my car. It'd be enough to get me a crank pulley, larger throttle body, and full exhaust (4-2-1 header, 2.5" piping, and a Dynomax Super Turbo to keep it quiet). That should put me pretty close to low 15s if not high 14s if I was really lucky.

/Kokomo wishes he had an extra $4k to match what notfred is spending...

Man, cheap speed... gotta love it. 🙂

Now if I wasn't so enamoured with handling mods my car might actually dip into the 13s... but gotta get an LSD, coilovers, and a new IC before I even think about swapping out my already gasping hairdryer and getting some fuel mods too.

I used to have the same problem... Ended up with a '73 340 Duster that I drove every day, and drove it down to the track on the weekends to run in the 12.90's (after only swapping out the mufflers and slicks).

But marriage, kids, and a house quickly cured me of that addiction. 😉

Enjoy it while you can, but don't sacrifice the future finances (credit) for a short time thrill.
