Looks like a surge for systems in preperation for school in the Fall. Numbers were up in units across the board.
 
Like many of JPR's shipment and market share numbers, these cover both discrete and integrated graphics hardware

edit: oops saw you had that already and apopins post did say amd gained moderately on the higher end. Anyways the real war is coming soon....

nah what he is saying is that because their CPUs are so much better now, more people are buying them, and since the average user only needs IGP, you as a result also get a chipset and IGP sell out of it as well, which means more $ for AMD, unless you get an nvidia IGP
