JPG image preview

Hello I have a big problem with windows 2000
when I install a program that does image manipulation like
Corel Draw or Adobe Photoshop It takes the jpg file type.

But I want my jpg files to be associated with Internet explorer and not those program so I go into foder option, fil type and the I go
to the jgp file type and I set it to the default JPEG file type that is associated to Internet explorer. The my jpg file do open with internet explorer but I can't get the image preview anymore
and there is no way to get it back. IF I rename the file to jpe or jpeg it is ok I can see them but the jpg is really messed up.

Anybody has an idea
