Hi,
My wife moved a whole bunch of files from her camera's sdcard to her desktop and was editing them with MS Photo Editor when suddenly it hung and she had to reboot. When she got back to the desktop she found that the photo she was working on was still there but became 0bytes and cannot be previewed/opened.
I tried running a chkdsk /r after another reboot and it managed to recover 2.5MB of data from that file(same filename), but it still cannot be opened.
I checked the recycle bin and there seems to be no deleted versions of the file there from the sdcard.
Is there any way of repairing the corrupt file, or is there any way of scanning the sdcard for the files that were moved. Surely the file entries were just removed from the FAT file system but the actual data is still there?
Thanks.
