My CH Flightstick finally kicked the bucket. Is there any sticks out there with a similar fluid feel as this thing? I've tried my dad's Sidewinder and I might as well be using a game pad.
 
I personally like the Suncom F15E Talon Joystick. It has a metal base and shaft. And all the buttons are programable on the fly. No software needed. It is large and well built with a very nice feel and a good number of buttons. Here is a review and if you want I can send you a pic. But they are hard to come by. It took me a while to find mine.
 
Yeah that's the one. Sure found that fast🙂 I bought mine in 98 and Suncom was still taking flack for there previously very crappy Joysticks.
 
I have it, a Gravis Firebird 2, a Logitech Wingman Extreme and the Thrustmaster FCS/WCS combo and the F15E is my favorite.
