Do you keep one and how often do you write in it?

I have been keeping one for a while now. I decided to write something in there yesterday and realized I hadn't written in it since July. So much has happened that I didn't even write about. I plan on writing weekly if not daily from now on.

I gave up on mine back in October. Used to write in a blog, but I got lazy. Once I'm done revamping my site I'll start again.
 
I used to keep a journal a long time ago when I was in high school. I had some stuff in it that I would rather not be read by anyone else. Someone close to me stole it and went through it. I don't want that to ever happen again, so no journal anymore.
 
i used to keep a journal, kept it between the two matresses of my bed. One day my stepmom "found" it (she was looking for it) and said i was threatening her life(i dont know how a 15 y/o pubescent, teen girl could kill her) so she kicked me out of my house. That was the last time i kept a journal. 🙁

That sucks. I had almost the same thing happen to me when I was a little younger than that; I didn't care for it much either. In my case, I didn't have a journal; I had a couple of those "snakes" you'd get for the 4th of July that make long squiggly ashes when you light them on fire.
