I do not mean any disrespect toward the President or Congress, but I find the entire proposition of our post-9/11 "military tribunals" a bit shaky Constitutionally, and, in this instance, where an American citizen was arrested on American soil, I find it hard to justify holding him indefinitely without charging him or providing him access to counsel. I don't really think any of this was what the framers had in mind when they drafted the 5th and 6th Amendments.
