Just heard M. Jordan scored 51 points against Charlotte tonight. Not bad for a 40 year old... Makes me feel a little better about age.

When I'm 40, I hope to just be able to pick up a BB, Jordan is the man :)

<< didnt he score like 6 points in some other game? >>

Yes he did. From a career low of 6 to being the most points scored by an older player.

Go Jordan, go! As a 38 year old man, it feels good to see another man my age do well against youngsters. :D

<< it's his job. I sure hope I'm still able to do my job and get paid when I'm 40 also, since the normal retirement age is 65. >>

I don't know what your job is, but unless you are a professional athlete, the nature of your job is very different than his. It's amazing how he can motivate himself to things that would impossible for other people. He's the man.

A couple years ago, if a 38 year old scored 51 points I would've had to run to the bathroom before I pissed my pants in awe. However, sports has been on the decline for the past few years, and it's really hit rock bottum this year. EVERYTHING about baseball is a joke right now, from the owners to the players to mr. grinch bud selig. We have football players dying left and right because the sport has gotten so competative and such that players feel they need to put their very lives in danger just to gain that extra .05% "boost". Basketball has seen it's share of conflict, but not so much as the other sports. Hockey I dont follow as much as the other 3 sports, but I haven't heard any big news come out of there in awhile besides retirements and that Ray guy finally winning his trophy last year :)

Anyways, i'm glad Jordan scored 51 tonight, rebounding from his career low, but i'm not surprised because Jordan isn't human :) There's a reason he's called the greatest player of all time, and imo the greatest player there ever will be, hands down. Some may have more moves, some may get more titles, some may score more, some may be quicker, but no one will ever be better. It's the 10th day of winter break and i'm bored as hell, so there's all my thoughts on sports tonight :)

If it at all matters, he's donating his Salary this year to Charity. Who's the Greatest? We all know.

How many NBA titles has Malone won? Let me check, o yeah, 0. Let me see, o yeah it was Jordan who beat the Jazz two times in the 97 and 98 NBA Championships.
