There are two different stories. His wife has stated that he was stabbed 2 times by an inmate known as Yus. The head of the prison system says his wife is lying, and is trying to have Vandersloot transferred to another prison. Conditions in his current prison are very bad. Inmates are subjected to beatings, and they even have their testicles burned. At night it can reach 0 degrees. The heating gets turned off at 9pm. That's if it even works at all!

Either way, he is getting what he should have gotten a long time ago. Let him rot in jail.
