Joost, close but no cigar...

at least on my old computer. The selection of channels is actually very good. In fact, just a few years ago this would have been beyond belief. It is just that the quality of the picture is not good enough. It actually bothers my eyes after a short while. It is just not sharp enough.
Am I correct when I say that the bitrate(?) used by Joost is low and that nothing I can do on my end will help?

XFX 7600GS,
Sceptre X20WG Naga DVI 1280x720, refresh 75hertz
AMD X2 Brisbane 3600+

Joost channels are actually streaming at a fairly high bitrate. You should see some of the other p2ptv services showing Chinese content whose channels are much worse. In my opinion, the biggest problem with Joost are the idiots who designed the interface. If I were to rate the usability of Joost from 1 to 100, I would give it a 1 only because 0 is not on the scale.

Yes, I have to agree on the interface. It is difficult and not at all intuitive. After viewing it for the last several days, I must also agree that ultimately I have found little to watch on Joost. Sopcast, from China I believe, is worse. Still, the general idea is interesting.
