Jon Lovitz: Funny or just plain annoying?

Annoying if it's just him. He's funny sometimes when he's in movies though, like in A League of Their Own or Rat Race.

He makes a decent funny "straight man" when he's with others, but if you let him get going by himself, he can get a little weird.

I agree with the statement about Pauly Shore. I actually ran into him at a convention in LA, a few years ago (when his so called "career" was beginning to tank), and he was twice as annoying in person as any character he's played. Amazing!! I think they actually have to tell him to "annoy down" a bit for his roles!! :laugh:
