i don't care....
"prepackaged is for homos"
"too small to be of any use"
"thermaltake??? are you serious?"

anyways.....

i got this bad boy keeping my 520 (@ 3.43) at 23C....and it looks damn good, too.
got it on my vid card, and a resevoir perched in my case. i think without the resevoir it'd be higher, but 23 is pretty fvckin' cool.

<sigh> didn't realize how dependent my NB was on the stock fan, though. anyone know where i can find a quality NB cooler that'll work on a 915? no mounting holes, just hooks. i was looking at thermalright's NB 1C, but that only works with tandy's and sh!t.
thermaltake's got something, but it looks cheap and loud? anybody got any ideas?

It works great but those temps seem way too low. Your sensor has gone mad, buy a cheap thermal sensor and report back. I should buy one also.

Also some photos would be great, I have never seen it with a GPU waterblock.

You should host them in a server such as imageshack. Then take the photo's adress and push reply here. In the upper part there's "http". Push it and a new window appears. Copy there the http adress, ok, and then give it a name.

23c to 26c seems a bit low for Water. I think we all understand sub 0 cooling.

Although it very well may be possible its about 3.5 degrees f over his high ambient

thanks...

my only problem now is cooling my NB. turns out it was dependent on the HSF and it's running a lil too hot for my peace of mind. i run my computer now for 8 hour stretches with a few hours gaming each stretch. i'd like to keep it running 24/7 for downloading phish shows :)roll;) and other shoeless hippie rock. seems the only active cooler out there is the thermaltake and it looks too cheap and noisy. thermalright's NB-1C would just fit between my waterblock and my vid card, but it doesn't work with the 915 (lazy bastards said they weren't gonna make any more). anybody with a 915 and a waterblock have a good NB cooler, active or not?

23-26c (idle) is more than possible, with a low enough ambient and\or strong fans. However, some of us didn't go water just to run the AC constantly too. ;) For me, water really shines when it gets warm (80 degrees F+), and my main box STILL runs without skipping a beat.

Or you are in a very cold place or your temp sensor is broken  Take an external sensor and measure it, that's the only way of measuring temps correctly, moreover in OC'd CPU where the thermal diode can go mad.

What temps in the GPU, it looks interesting. I want change my aircooler in the 6800GT but it seems interesting anyway. This kit is very good, I like mine a lot.

Doesn't look too bad. Do you use a door? You may benefit your temps by installing a quiet fan in the rear. Afterall, heat is still being generated by the board's components and also your water cooling equipment. Also, that hard drive cage is super restrictive. You may want to take a dremel and cut some rectangular slots above the drive on both sides to get a good air path over the drive. Not only will it cool your drive down much better, but will provide a good air path through the case. If you turn the hard drive around, you will also be able to hide the connection wiring.

I don't know much about water cooling, but it sure looks nice.

to make your case look nicer, cut out some of those 'cable ties' and make it clean...

re-organizing the cables will be great

more pictures?

i have one 80mm and a 120mm fan blowing on my raptor...

as for the wiring... i'm just happy this thing is running right now. i'll clean it up as i go.

i poked around your thread before, MC... nice setup. the TT armor is a really pimped out case IMO.

*Offtopic* hey slurms, how is that modstream treating you? I've been thinking about purchasing one for my next build.
