When I try to sign up, Distributed.net does not find my email address to send me my password. Any suggestions, ideas?? Thanks! 🙂

Do a search for your email addy at dnet and click on the "lost my password" button at the bottom! dnet claims they auto-send it...but it seems like they never have 🙂

hehe, good luck! And a BIG welcome to the TeAm!! w00t! 😀

SAK, Dnet quit auto-sending since the end of the first statsbox.

PS You might also want to check the OGR stats, you may be doing OGR stubs

rchala, welcome to the team.

btw, a "nef" is someone who posts messages that really don't add any value to the thread. I would never stoop that low. It's just that I'm really really old and can't remember sometimes.

Right JonB, OGR isn't bad, but when done unintentionaly, it can cause heck in getting your password.😱

Welcome!

Hang around, have some fun, and learn a little,
all at the same time.

Nice to have your contributions, Thanks!

Thanks all for the support!! 😀

Quick check revealed that I am indeed playing the OGR field... So, that may be my problem? The whole issue is that when I search based on my username, some strange email addy pops up. What is the recommended config? I have both of my computers crunching...and want to contribute best I can... 🙂

Thanks again!

I have been crunching RC5 for the past few days... sadly, Dist.net still can't find me... 🙁
Any ideas? I guess I will just wait another day to see if I show up...
Thanks,
Rich

Oh, I just thought of something... Maybe I have to wait until all packets are completed and then it will send the info off to dist.net... I still have 5 packets in my buff-in.rc5 and 14 packets in my buff-out.rc5 Is that an accurate statement?
Thanks,
Rich

You have to flush some packets. It looks like the work you've done hasn't be flushed to d.net yet.
