joining multiple VOB file into one?

Hi gang, I've been ripping my movies using DVDFab and storing them on my media server as smaller, separate VOB files. This process has worked great for viewing them with My Movies and Vista media center.

I just got a PS3, and it seems that the PS3 will take each VOB separately, and will stop at the end of each one. Hence, I think I need to put these separate VOB files back into 1.

Any good way to accomplish this?

As much as liked DVDFab, due to having a PS3 now and not wanting to play around with vob files, I moved to Handbrake (or fairuse wizard). Convert from DVD right to an MP4 that the PS3 can see and love -- even has the PS3 settings for yah. Free too.

Get the extra option from DVDFab, DVDFab mobile. It will convert the DVD to a PS3 format with one click.

I just checked DVDFab Mobile, it's really simple to convert to PS3 format using it. :thumbsup:

Is there a specific format that the PS3 needs? I thought the good thing about it was that it could play most anything?

Anyway, I found an option in the settings that lets the PS3 play from 1 small vob to the next without stopping. Works perfectly on a few movies I tested last nite.

That being said, ,I had high hopes I could get rod of the HTPC. But, the PS3's interface just isn't nice enough for me to do that. It feels like I'm using a PC with windows explorer, rather than a nice media interface.
