I got a 3 day suspension for retaliating against dug777, some useless lifer with 23000+ posts, that found it necessary to jump in the GT-R nurburging thread just to insult me.

Since I will not be returning to the forums I at least wanted to let this be out in the open:

If you cannot enforce your rules FULLY (ie: suspend the offender for baiting as well) then your moderation system is still a complete joke.

if you are going to defend trolls with high post counts over informative threads then AT has and will be going downhill further.

Read my post below. This is locked.

You were warned for your attacks on dug777, you were vacationed for continuing to contact mods personally after being warned not to. As esquared has stated, this rule has apparently slipped past you for contacting a mods personal account for comlaints. If you wish to complain, PM the main mod account, DO NOT contact me directly again.

Calling the mods out with your subtitle is not OK. 1 week off. In that Garage thread you were actually the one calling dug77 names, hence your three days off. You were also warned about the rules pertaining to mods by your PMs to ZV. You also just contacted Gillbot's personal account after the warnings and vacation. Then you apparently forgot this rule:

Forum guidelines

12) Do not contact individual moderators. Please direct violations of these guidelines to moderator@anandtech.com, AnandTech Moderator by PM or post in Personal Forum Issues to request attention for something. Please be patient with moderation requests and inquiries. Users found in violation of this directive will be given only one warning and pointed in the right direction before further action is taken.

13) Baiting moderators will not be tolerated nor will Mod Call Outs. Any action that reasonably can be considered baiting a moderator, or multiple consecutive actions that heavily push the boundaries of any of these guidelines will result in an instant short term vacation. Repeated violation of this rule may result in a permaban.
