Joining a S@H-team without loosing units?

Probably been asked many a time before, but I'd still like to know if and how it can be done.
I'd hate to see my personal close to 2000 units, and possibly some of the team's 125000+ units gone for nothing.
I can absolutely not get all of those units to go over, but a fair amount of them anyways.

Hi Jesternlrevived! Since you are from the The Hague in the Netherlands, I would assume that you would like to help us beat the Dutch SETI Team? We would be glad to have you join our TeAm and combine forces with your current team. It would make one very strong TeAm with a much better chance for Victory!!

If you switch teams the work units you have are subtracted from the old team and added to the new team. Do you think you can bring any of your team mates with you?

You will still have credit for all your units, but Team AnandTech will get credit for them too:)

i've jumped teams twice so far, work units follow the user. you keep your credits and the current team gets all of them. the website says they stay with the team they were produced under, but its false. its probably too compute intensive for berkeley to do so.

OK, thanks for all the answers.. I went by their website, which indeed states that when you switch, credit stays with the original team, and foolish me believed them ;)
And for those wondering why I want to join TA while I'm Dutch..
I've been frequenting AT for a long long time already, learned a lot about hardware, and want to do something in return. Besides, I'm working for DPC in RC5 already. So I want to combine a little, instead of competing...
Like someone said already, we're all subteams of the team called humanity.
I am going to try hard to get team mates to go over as well, but I'm not the founder of the Origin team ( not bad though huh, 160-something place overall) so I can't let the whole team join. I'll give it a good go though.

GRTZ,
Jester
