Agreed - but they'd still have looked like idiots if they had voted her the award, refused to actually give it to her, and then she had been found not guilty. They should have just postponed the ceremony until the charges had been adjudicated, that way there's no need to look like idiots when you take it back or look like idiots when you deny an innocent person.

You must have had a hard time reading and comprehending the articles I posted. The main error was made by the Chairman of Jefferson County Democratic Party when he was warned that the person that had been nominated for the award was a criminal, but didn't bother to check up on it and thereby embarrassed himself and his party and held them up for well deserved ridicule.
The fact that a woman that get's an award for being the best damn little Democrat in Jefferson County was screwing over a poor blind and seriously ill woman was just another bit of evidence about my low opinion of Democrats in general. Thank you for adding another small piece of proof.

And long after you run out of any more even remotely credible charges against democrats, other Americans will have hardly even scratched the surface of many more credible charges against the GOP.

that's what they should have done. but that would be using common sense. common sense is very lacking in politics.

So what we have on the surface, said little democrat, somehow charges some totally blind a seriously ill woman some fraction of her monthly income for her assumed to be purely personal utilities. BUT IS THAT ACTUALLY THE CASE?. AS MAYBE I MIGHT INVENT A VALID REASON FOR our little democrat. As no one asks what our little democrat does for said blind and disabled woman in return. Does our little democrat possibly do her cooking and cleaning for her? Which might require said little democrat to spend substantial time at her home, as it still does not answer who pays for her food. Meanwhile, such a blind and totally disabled woman would normally become the ward of the Jefferson county that may be mainly Republican. As we can also ask how our little democrat could even obtain access to her whole $548.00/mo income when Jefferson County, Iowa is supposed to safeguard it.

As it is, monovillage's link sheds no light on who was taking care of the woman one way or the other, but maybe our little democrat woman has a valid reason that she sadly can't prove. After all, if our little democrat woman is stealing her money, why not steal all $548.00/monthly income and just let our blind and disabled lady starve?

Just pointing out that some things just don't add up in the monovillage assumptions.

Your girlfriend is a confessed and convicted felon in Jefferson County Colorado. I doubt if she is considered the best lil' Democrat any longer.

A Jefferson County jury on Thursday convicted Carson of identity theft and theft from an at-risk person, both felonies, according to Pam Russell, spokeswoman for the district attorney. Carson, 67, is scheduled to be sentenced in December.

I don't know and you don't either. And in your Denver post link, you totally ignored the story of a Denver attorney who bilked millions of dollars from his clients.

Momovillage, don't we think we should wait until all the facts come out before rushing to judgment? You may indeed be correct that Estelle Carson is a total low life fraud, but given the fact that fraud does not confine itself to any political party, means all political parties heap honors on frauds not yet convicted.

Just because she confessed to numerous felonies and was convicted of felonies doesn't really mean she is a bad person. If my grandmother or mother were still alive I'd be happy to let the best lil' Democrat in Jefferson County, Estelle Carson, take care of them.
