Like mentioned above, I'm also saddened that they discontinued JW Green. I've tried around a dozen and a half different scotchs in my price range of up to $125 a bottle. Personally, I've always found JW Green to be my favorite tasting one. Most of my friends don't really care for Green label but I really enjoy the flavor.

I had heard about that, and so when I was walking through the Calgary airport last year I walked into a shop and was surprised when I found two bottles left. Bought one of them.

I always knew green was different from the others, and I found out the secret just a few months ago. Green is the only one that is a blend of only single malts. I pop the cork to smell it once in a while and it really is fantastic.

That's a vatted malt. They fell out of favor cause the ignorant masses rejected them for not being singles. They hold the price of singles, but not the prestige, so it's hard to market.
