That said, I am not in love with the Yankee team this year. But I think they improved from last year.

Yankee pitching looks a little shaky... that being said Sox pitching hasn't been that much better lately. Ortiz, once again, was the game breaker. That 3 run homer was a monster, and, outside of that one pitch, I really thought the teams were pretty evenly matched.


I'm looking forward to Sox / Yankees this year. Should be a close season series (like usual) - and I wouldn't want it any other way.

edit - also, I just wanted to say, Yankees fans be ready for Mirabelli... the guy is a beast at Yankee Stadium (bats ~ .380 there I think).
