What is "yes"?

Anyone that can cover a NiN song at age 70 is cool, and that his version is better than the original earns him my respect. He was the man, the man in black, that is 🙂
 
As much as I like Johnn Cash his was not better than the original. In fact most of the covers he did were cool but not better than the original. The only one I can think of right now that was better was "I Hung My Head," a Sting song and "Personal Jesus."
 
Boy named Sue rocks and so does Ring of Fire. Istill liked the story that a hemmorhoid company wanted to use that song in the commercials. That would have been hilarious.
 
I disagree that his version is better than the original. It's definately fitting though, and it sounded like he was about to die (which he did...). Maybe equal to the original, but not quite better.

I absolutley love Hurt but havent really listened to some of his other stuff. Which other songs would you recommend that have the same vibe/slowness to it?

Yes I do and I have heard it, but I like Cash's cover/version more
